My Background...
Hi, my name is Peter Picado-Curtis  and I'm part of a family going on a world trip. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and I moved to Eugene, Oregon when I was one year old. Right now I'm 12 but only a week after we leave I will be 13. I will be going into eight grade at Spencer Butte Middle School, but as you know I'll be learning on my own for a year. I've had a ton of fun planning for this trip. Some of our recent endeavors have been traveling to Alaska in summer of 2003.  In '03 we also visited Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. The adventure that started this was traveling to Boston about five years ago. We realized how much we could learn from traveling abroad. Some of my favorite things to do is play sports. I love to play basketball, but I also skateboard to. I'm hoping to bring my skateboard and skate around the world. I think that there will be a lot of good spots in south-east Asia, Europe and Mexico. Under my travelogs you will see under every country you can see skate spots that I liked and photos of them.
